Keywords:
Chilean Poetry, Raúl Zurita, Post-dictatorship, MemoryAbstract
This paper explores the dichotomy forgetfulness versus memory and the role of poetry in the reconstitution of the Chilean society during the post-dictatorship era. It is hypothesized that Inri, by Raúl Zurita, assumes the task of ‘elaborating traumatic experiences’ as a necessary realization and acknowledgement which implies a signifi cant reparatory precedent.
